Christine Komola

C-Suite Finance & Operations Executive – CJK Advisors LLC

She is a go-to leader who applies creative problem solving to enhance bottom line performance, operational excellence, and shareholder value and has a history of managing the financial rigor around M&A activity and private-to-public / public-to-private company transitions as well as all aspects of capital structure, long-term fund investment strategy, and cost control.

Christine was most recently Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Presidio, Inc. focused on driving organic growth through M&A strategy; leading finance operations improvements, technology integrations, and innovative go-to-market strategy; and building a high-performance finance team to align with enterprise goals.

Prior, Christine served as Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer for Covetrus where she led strategic reorganization activities that ultimately formed the $4B public company. This included collaboration with Henry Schein to spin off its Animal Health business, execution of the RMT transaction, and guiding financing agreement of a five-year term loan A and five-year revolving credit facilitate to pay for the transaction. Christine also built an executive global finance team, drove integration plans that achieved EBITDA synergies, launched an enterprise-wide savings plan, and shaped a newly formed board of the public company.

Previously, Christine served as Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer for Staples partnering with the CEO and Board of Directors to drive its strategic change from a public to private entity and execute a shift in customer approach from a B2C to a B2B delivery model. She restructured and directed the global finance organization while driving monumental cost savings, managing nine divestitures of non-core global businesses, integrating digital strategy solutions across functions, and building a robust board.

While in Corporate Accounting for Staples as Senior Vice President & Corporate Controller, she led finance and M&A business teams in the $4.8B acquisition of Corporate Express, drove organizational structuring and financial strategy for Staples Europe and China, launched a Lean Six Sigma Process Excellence Program, and steered the investigation and resolution of several major cyber security incidents.

Christine’s earlier roles with Staples include Senior VP & General Merchandise Manager for Furniture and Wholesalers where she grew sales and margin dollars 20%+ within 18 months, Chief Financial Officer for Staples.com, and VP of Planning, Margin, and Control.

Earlier, Christine navigated a progressive career with Ernst & Young with focus on large global clients in the financial services and consumer products sectors.

Christine holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Miami University in Ohio and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Massachusetts.

A respected thought leader in her space, Christine contributes her expertise as a member of several non-profit Boards of Directors, including Vineyard Havens (BOD member and Treasurer), Catholic School Foundation (BOD Treasurer, Audit & Finance Committee member, and former Chairman of the Finance Committee) and Summer
